Pingverse Connect ("the App") is provided by Pingverse. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect and How It's Used

Pingverse Connect only requests permissions that are necessary for its communication features:

Camera	Enables video calls between users.	Activated only when you start or accept a video call.
Microphone	Enables voice during calls.	Activated only during active voice or video sessions.
Contacts	Lets you view your phonebook inside the app to easily call or invite friends.	Optional; contact data stays on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.
Network Access	Required to connect you to LiveKit WebRTC servers for real-time communication.	Always on while the app is connected.

Important: We do not collect your messages, call recordings, or media content. Metadata such as session IDs and connection quality may be processed temporarily to maintain call reliability.

2. Data Storage and Security

All audio, video, and data streams are end-to-end encrypted using LiveKit WebRTC.
Pingverse Connect does not record or store your calls.
Any transient connection data is automatically deleted after the session ends.
Access to our backend systems (Pingverse Core) is protected by strong authentication and network security measures.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.
Limited technical data may be processed by trusted infrastructure providers (e.g., cloud hosting or telecom carriers) strictly to deliver the service.
We comply with lawful requests only when legally required.

4. User Control and Choices

You can revoke camera, microphone, or contacts permissions anytime in your device settings.
You may delete the app to remove all locally stored data.

5. Children's Privacy

Pingverse Connect is intended for users 16 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
